Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman holds the distinguished chair in psychology within the University of California Davis and is the Director of its Center for Public Policy Research. Her name is well-known for her pioneering modern research of children's memory as eyewitnesses as well as the role of children victims in court contexts. Professor Goodman is the author of many papers and grants to her name, is also the recipient of numerous international and national prizes. She has consulted with numerous governments and agencies throughout the world regarding policies and research concerning children as victims within the legal system. She is currently a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center in Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She is also a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Practice and Policy American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 57). Professor. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and also the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as the President of the America Psychological Association's divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Family and Child policy and practice.
